Stefanie was the recipient of one of the first Peace One Earth medallions that have been created by StepUp4Vets (www.stepup4vets.org), a nonprofit organization founded by philanthropist Patricia Kennedy to partner in the transition of our returning veterans as they readjust, redirect and rebuild their civilian lives.  The event was held at Patricia's home to commemorate the beginning of Armed Forces week.  Among the other guests were Wayne Newton, who has taken over the reigns of Chairman of the USO Celebrity Circle from Bob Hope, actor Hugh O'Brian and astronaut Buzz Aldrin and his wife Lois.
